COMMUNITIES are the new business moat
And since 2020, I would not exaggerate saying online communities. Building communities are from far a long term project and they require lots of resources and especially time. And as funny and ironic as situations can be, the small or medium businesses, start-ups or even solopreneurs have neither the time, neither the resources. And if you’re a community builder or manager, you know what challenges you have to face.
Make sure to check this article that tackles how do different community builders convince people to invest in the community.
PERSONA - the trend, not the game
Plenty of rumours that personas are not trendy, and that this 2000s marketing trend definitely has no use in 2020. However, the situation seems to differ. Every time you focus on the customer, you’ll need to define your buyer persona in your marketing strategy. Otherwise how else will you build all your strategies if you have no clue about whom you should talk to? So before jumping to conclusions and on-trend rumours, I do recommend you to use your logics and question some of the worldwide news.
Run to your plans and define or redefine your personas, if you haven’t done it yet.
CUSTOMER OUTREACH - as part of Conversational Marketing
2020 has shown to every big brand, small brand, start-up and even solopreneurs how important conversation is and how everything is tied up around it.
Longs story short, you need to create real conversations with your communities. And when it comes to engaging communities, remember that you’re doing it because you want to understand your audience’s concerns, aspiration, how they think and talk about a given issue in relation with your business.
No link here, and I recommend you to run Google, QWANT or DuckDuckGo search on how to create real conversations with your community.

The BEST EVER tip to BOOST your LEARNING is …
TO SLEEP, and I am not joking with you.
👉🏼 Here are some tips for better sleep from the very sleep scientist, Matt Walker. He explains how your room temperature, lighting and other easy-to-fix factors can set the stage for a better night's rest.

✨ Happy Holidays!
Not everyone celebrates Christmas.
Please have in mind that not everyone is Christian and not everyone celebrates Christmas at the same time as the majority does.
PS: Also, not everyone is sad to be missing the holidays with family this year ...
These are nuances that can make a huge difference in the relationships you have with your clients, collaborators, colleagues or acquaintances.
🔖 Personal note for you, dear reader.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.
Thank you for your suggestions, your comments and your shares.
We live challenging times, and 2021 can be very surprising if we want to learn from 2020. Therefore, I invite you to take care of yourself, of your health, find time for your wellness and find time to give back to your community. Please share your knowledge with your peers or with those interested to learn from you (they are so many!).
Find that time to challenge yourself and your beliefs. Make sure to nurture yourself and your thoughts.
Do NOT believe EVERYTHING you THINK. Learn to SEPARATE your THOUGHTS and BELIEFS. It changes your life. Adopt a BEGINNER mindset.
